One Table, Two Diets

The Best of Both Bites

Finding a place to eat shouldn't feel like a compromise — whether you're plant-based, meat-loving, or somewhere in between. Too Veg Too Non-Veg is a food blog for couples, friends, and groups who don’t share the same plate, but want to share the same table.

We review restaurants through a unique lens: not just food quality, service, and vibe — but how well a spot caters to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian diners. Every review includes our signature Veg/Non-Veg Friendliness Score so you know exactly what to expect before you go.

Our Scoring Metric

We rate each restaurant on how well it serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian diners, with a unique 10-point score

THE Ratio (3 points)

How balanced is the menu? We look at the proportion of vegetarian to non-vegetarian dishes.

  • 1/3 = Mostly one type

  • 2/3 = Fairly balanced

  • 3/3 = Equally inclusive

Quality (3 points)

Are the dishes actually good? We score based on taste, presentation, and overall execution — for both veg and non-veg plates.

Service (3 points)

We consider how accommodating the staff is to different dietary needs — including ingredient checks, flexibility, and overall experience.

+1 for Variety

If a restaurant offers thoughtful and distinct options across categories (not just one token veg dish or repetitive proteins), it earns a bonus point.
